Business Manager

Christine Paige Diers is the Business Manager for PRNDI.  She started working for PRNDI part-time in 1997, and has been full-time staff with the organization since July 1, 2018.  Known to many in the organization as "Ma PRNDI,"  Christine's work history includes serving as a Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society and working for 8 years as the Director of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame in Sturgis, South Dakota (yes, really).  In a former life, Christine was a public radio news director in Grand Forks, North Dakota, then worked in public relations for city government and for a business incubator.

St. Louis Public Radio is seeking a full-time talk show producer to produce broadcast and digital content for its talk show program St. Louis on the Air and other special broadcasts.

The producer will be responsible for producing, researching and booking guests for show segments, and producing other broadcast content. The job also entails contributing to the show's digital presence, helping to ensure the show has a consistent voice online and in social media.

WUWF Public Media is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Managing Editor (ME) of News (Assistant Director – 125630).  This position, which will report to the Director of Content & Operations, will be responsible for editing, assigning, scheduling and managing WUWF news efforts on air, and online, in conjunction with WUWF news staff, WUWF Digital Content producers and CREO (Center for Research & Economic Opportunity) writers & producers.

Journalists at WUWM identify, report, edit and produce a wide range of stories for all WUWM programs and digital platforms. The Von Fellowship is designed to give recently graduated journalism students the opportunity to work in a professional news environment, preparing stories for broadcast and digital platforms.

The News Director supervises all aspects of the Boise State Public Radio news department, including assigning and editing stories for newscasts, planning features and news series, measuring and monitoring success, guiding the digital workflow, and creating public service programming.

Public Radio News Directors Incorporated presented its annual awards at a banquet honoring the best in public radio reporting on Saturday, June 24th, 2017.  The awards are designed to honor the very best reporting in a wide variety of categories.

The membership of the Public Radio News Directors Incorporated elected two new board members and re-elected two other members to their seats at its annual business meeting on Saturday, June 24th.  Treasurer Rachel Osier Lindley was re-elected to another two year term on the board, as was Large Station Representative Teresa Collier. 

Thanks to everyone who attended the 2017 PRNDI Conference.  The conference concluded Saturday night with the awards banquet honoring the very best in Public Radio reporting.   Al Letson of Reveal took the podium as the emcee for the evening.
