GPB Seeks Radio Director
GPB is seeking a dynamic, energetic Radio Director to lead a statewide network of 17 public radio stations. The network has studios across Georgia including Atlanta, Savannah and Macon. We are looking for a strong leader who can work in the broadcast and digital realms, incorporating the best content of each platform and delivering a vital service to communities across the state.
You’ll lead several special projects including the new, Knight Center for Collaborative Journalism in Macon. The Center is a nationally unique partnership with Mercer University and the Telegraph newspaper serving middle Georgia. This partnership along with burgeoning projects in Augusta, Columbus and Savannah creates an exciting opportunity to develop talent, engage with the community and provide a vital public service to our listeners.
You will direct and manage on-air staff, programming, promotion and productions. You will also coordinate and participate in fundraising and development opportunities. You can find more information and apply at GPB.org/jobs.
