Aaron Selbig is the news director at KBBI public radio in Homer, Alaska and KDLL in Kenai, Alaska. Aaron's career in journalism began at the alt-weekly "Anchorage Press" in 1999 and has taken him in many different directions over the years, including print, web and commercial and public radio. He has won many awards over the years for his reporting in newspapers and on the airwaves, including three consecutive Alaska Press Club awards for sports reporting.
In 2008, Aaron and his family settled in beautiful Homer, on the shores of Kachemak Bay on Alaska's spectacular Kenai Peninsula. He took over as KBBI/KDLL news director in 2009 and has worked to expand the organization's news presence in the area.
Aaron was elected to serve as the small station representative on the PRNDI Board at the organization's annual conference in Houston in July, 2012.
